I was just thinking how appropriate this inscription; it almost translates that the show itself is the peoples choice. And, the Festival participants ~ vendors and visitors alike ~ evidenced so much happiness over the entire 3-day show. That said, this lovely wood box resulted from the accumulation of heart stickers given by visitors voting for The Silk Dragon sculpture I entered in the Fiber Arts Show.
Inside the box, another delightful surprise: a gift certificate from Ramificiations. Isn’t that such a treat along with all the heart stickers visitors gave us? Thank you so very much!
BSG posted a videoclip of the dragon on it’s rotating turntable – meant to allow viewing all angles.
2018 was a WONDERFUL show! A grand new venue location (Albany, OR). Innumerable familiar faces among the visitors and vendors. An abundance of accolades from our customers, be they returning regulars, or delighted newcomers. An assemblage of animals in the Livestock Pavilion. A profusion of products throughout all the many attractive vendor offerings. Temptation everywhere you looked. It was a glorious assault on the senses. WE LOVED IT ALL. We definitely *Heart* Black Sheep Gathering!
Your dragon was so lovely! I was hoping you’d win! It was so nice to meet you along with my sister and chat about our mutual love of needle felting! I look forward to seeing you at Flock and Fiber in September!
Hi hi hi Kristin. I so much enjoyed discussing needle felting techniques and exchanging tips. We each knew something really useful for the other to learn. Wasn’t that fun? I’m gonna go look for the thin pipe cleaners now. Your needle felted Akita dog was amazing! So much happy meeting you and I hope you’ll write to me. You got my card? Thank you again for asking questions and being so very tickled I was quite willing to describe my process. Lets share more. Hope to see you at Oregon Flock & Fiber Festival in September.
