The little ‘ol gal’s in the Knitting group, looking perky in their mop caps, bifocals, and lacy socks. Each Ewe is wearing a lovely piece of antique lace for a shawl, each hand made eons ago by someone with incredibly sharp eyesight !
I’m trying to recall the names for some of the types of old lace and they elude me, but the white piece on Blanche – the white ewe- is particularly nice type of ‘tape’ lace.
Each Ewe is knitting on gold-plated wire ‘needles.’ The yarn balls are secured & don’t unwind.
Their felted Cashmere tuffet seats are included.
