So here’s the resulting yarn, and the Gingko Crescent shawl in progress.  I aimed for fall color overall, with bits & dashes of other colors peeping through.  I got exactly what I desired.  Wish I could do that every time, but this case was a botched dye job, rescued and fortunately resurrected.  Next, the lace rows.

There also are needle felted sheep in progress on the work table.  I’ll post those next….
